# Review customer data suggested by your AI agent

> See how your AI agent saves customer data from conversations, and approve or reject the values it isn't sure about in the Additional data card.

As your AI agent chats with customers, it picks up details that fit your customer data fields, such as skin type or shoe size. When the AI agent is confident about a value, it saves it to the customer automatically. When it isn't sure, it suggests the value in the customer's **Additional data** card so your team can approve or reject it.

## Step 1: Describe your data fields

The AI agent uses each field's name and description to know what to look for. A description is optional, but it helps the AI agent find the right value.

* Open **Customers** and open a customer's profile.
* In the **Additional data** card, add a new field or edit an existing one.
* Fill in **Description (optional)** (up to 255 characters). For example: "Customer's skin type or shoe size".

<Tip>
  Data fields are managed from the customer profile. The **Collect data** skill in AI Studio links to them with **Manage**.
</Tip>

## Step 2: Review suggestions

You only need to review values the AI agent isn't sure about. Suggestions show up in the **Additional data** card in two places:

* The customer's profile in **Customers**.
* The **Customer Details** panel in bitChat live chat.

Each suggestion shows as a purple pill, for example **Suggested: add Oily**. If the field already has a value, the current value appears above the pill.

* Hover over the pill to see the customer's message behind the suggestion, for example: "my skin gets oily by noon".
* Click the check icon to approve the suggestion, or the X icon to reject it.

## Values saved by the AI agent

A value the AI agent saved automatically, or one you approved, shows an AI badge. The badge means your AI agent collected it from a customer conversation. If you edit the value, your edit replaces it.
