# Loyalty API Overview

> Authentication and scope for loyalty endpoints

Loyalty endpoints in this section are available through Open API and use `x-api-key` authentication.

Use API keys with customer scopes:

* Read endpoints: `customers:READ`
* Write endpoints: `customers:WRITE`
