# How to Edit or Delete a Category

> Edit a bitApp navigation category's fields or delete it using the trash can icon to keep your menu organized

Easily manage content categories in bitApp by editing or deleting them as needed. This guide covers category updates for effective content organization and user navigation.

## Step 1: Log in to your [bitApp dashboard](https://app.bitbybit.studio/bitapp/design) then click the "Navigation menu" icon

Click the "Navigation menu" icon

## Step 2: Select desired category to open the section

* To edit, click the field you want to update, then click "Save".

Click the field and "Save"\* To delete, click the "Trash can" icon and click “Delete”.

Click the "Trash can" icon

Click “Delete”
