# bitChat overview

> Manage WhatsApp conversations in bitChat — connect your number, run a shared inbox, build chatbots and a chat widget, and add AI agents.

bitChat is bitbybit's customer-conversation surface. Connect WhatsApp (plus Instagram and Messenger), handle chats from a shared **Livechat** inbox, automate replies with a **Chatbot** and **AI agent**, and add a **Chat Widget** to your store. This page orients you and points to where to start.
