# Understanding AI Tagging and how you can utilize them

AI Tagging adds a short summary, a sentiment, an intention, keyword tags, and one value per label to every conversation the AI Agent handles. The results appear in the ticket detail panel, the **Ticket tags** filter in the Customers list, and the AI analytics charts. It runs only on conversations handled by the AI Agent and refreshes a few times during the conversation and when the ticket is resolved, not on every message.

## Step 1: Go to the **bitChat Settings — AI settings** dashboard

## Step 2: Create labels by filling "Label name", "Label description", and "Values", or click "Add new tag"

Create label. **Values** are optional: when you list them (comma-separated), the AI picks exactly one per conversation; when you leave them empty, the AI writes a short free-text value.

## Step 3: Click “Save changes”
