# Get started with automation in bitCRM

> Learn how to open the Automation builder, create a new scenario, add a trigger and steps, and save your automation in bitCRM.

Use this page to start a new automation scenario in bitCRM.

## Overview

The current Automation workspace is built around one scenario at a time. You start from **Automation**, click **Create new scenario**, add a **Trigger**, then add the steps you need.

## Before you start

* Make sure the trigger source you want to use is already connected.
* Use a desktop browser if possible. The current builder is optimized for desktop.

## Steps

1. Go to [Automation](https://app.bitbybit.studio/bitcrm/automation-new).
2. Click **Create new scenario**.
3. Add a **Trigger**.
4. Add the next step you need:
   * **Communication channel**
   * **Product review**
   * **Loyalty**
   * **Time delay**
   * **Conditions**
5. Click **Save automation**.

## What happens next

After you save the scenario, you can return to the Automation list to:

* turn the scenario on or off
* duplicate it
* delete it
* open **See analytics**
