# Manage AI, channels, and your account

> Turn off an AI agent, disconnect a channel, or permanently delete your bitbybit account.

You can stop an AI agent without disconnecting its channel or deleting your account. Turn off **AI Agent 24/7** for a specific channel when you want people to handle conversations instead; disconnect a channel only when you want to end its connection to bitbybit.

## Step 1: Turn off the AI agent for a channel

* Go to **bitChat** > **Chatbot**.
* Select the channel you want to change.
* Turn off **AI Agent 24/7**.

This changes the AI setting for that channel only. It does not disconnect the channel.

## Step 2: Disconnect a channel

* Go to [**Integrations**](https://app.bitbybit.studio/integrations).
* Find the connected channel.
* Select **Disconnect**, then confirm the action.

Disconnecting ends the channel connection. It stays disconnected until you connect it again.

The WhatsApp connection is shared between bitCRM and bitChat. Treat disconnecting it as a change to that shared connection, not as a way to turn off only one product's AI. Disconnecting in bitbybit also does not replace Cloud API deregistration when moving the number back to the WhatsApp Business App.

## Step 3: Delete your account

Account deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. It cannot be undone, and it invalidates your active sessions.

* Go to **Settings** > **Danger Zone**.
* Select the account deletion option.
* Complete the confirmation shown in the app.

<Warning>
  Delete an account only when you no longer need any of its services. To stop AI replies or a single channel, use the earlier options instead.
