# Manage your bitbybit plan

> Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or use a new card for your bitbybit subscription.

Use **Plan management** in Settings to change your subscription. The available plans are **Free**, **Starter**, **Growth**, **Pro Bundle**, and **Enterprise**. Upgrades start through a new checkout immediately; cancelling or downgrading cancels the current subscription and changes the account to the Free plan immediately, so remaining AI credits are reset to the Free-plan balance.

## AI model access

AI model selection is available on the **Growth** plan. Check your plan before changing the AI model in AI Studio.

Connecting your bitbybit AI agent to an external Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is a beta program available by request. Contact support to ask about access. It is not generally available.

## Step 1: Open Plan management

* Go to [**Settings > Plan management**](https://app.bitbybit.studio/settings?section=plan-management).
* Review your current plan and the available plan actions.

## Step 2: Upgrade your plan

* Choose the plan you want to upgrade to.
* Continue to the checkout flow and complete payment.

The new checkout applies the upgrade immediately. The payment provider calculates any applicable charge for the change.

## Step 3: Downgrade or cancel your plan

* In **Plan management**, cancel the current subscription.
* If you want a lower paid plan, start a new checkout for that plan after cancelling.

The cancellation or downgrade does not wait for the next billing cycle. The account moves to the Free plan immediately, and unused AI credits from the higher plan do not carry over.

## Step 4: Use a different payment card

There is no separate option in **Plan management** to edit the saved subscription card. Cancel the current subscription, then complete a new checkout using the card you want to use.
