When you import customers with the bulk import template, the countryCode column expects an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code — a two-letter code such as ID, SG, or US. Enter the code, not the full country name: a value like Indonesia or Singapore will not sync.
Country codes are always two uppercase letters. If a customer’s country is unknown, leave the cell empty — blank cells do not affect the rest of the import.

How to read a country code

  • The code is the alpha-2 value from the ISO 3166-1 standard (for example, ID for Indonesia).
  • Codes are case-insensitive on import, but the template uses uppercase for consistency.
  • One code maps to one country. Use the country where the customer is located.
