When payment and shipping is on, customers can buy your bitbybit Commerce products right from your bitLink. They pick a product, choose delivery, and pay on the Xendit or Doku payment page. This page walks through what your customer sees, so you know what to expect.

Storefront or showcase

Your Shop section works in one of two ways:
  • Storefront: payment and shipping is on. Customers see a Buy now button and can order.
  • Showcase only: payment and shipping is off. Customers see your products, but can’t order them.
To switch between them, turn Enable payment and shipping on or off in bitLink > Payment & Shipping. See Set up payment and shipping for your bitLink.

The customer’s journey

1. The customer opens a product

The customer taps a product in your Shop section. The product page shows its photos, price, and options (size, colour, and so on). The customer chooses an option and taps Buy now.

2. The customer adds their details

The customer fills in two parts:
  • Customer data: their full name, phone number, and email (optional).
  • Recipient data: the name, phone number, and delivery address of the person who receives the order.

3. The customer chooses delivery

Under Choose shipment method, the customer picks a delivery method and sees prices from the couriers you connected. Some couriers ask for more detail so they can work out the price:
  • KiriminAja asks for the area: province, city, district (kecamatan), and sub-district (kelurahan).
  • GoSend and RideBlitz ask the customer to pin their location on a map.
Only couriers you connected, and that have your store details, appear here.

4. The customer chooses payment and places the order

Under Choose payment method, the customer picks Xendit or Doku. The Order summary shows the product, the shipping price, tax (if you turned it on), and the total. The customer taps Place order.

5. The customer pays

The Order created screen appears. The customer taps Pay now, which takes them to the Xendit or Doku payment page. There they can pay by bank transfer (virtual account), QRIS, e-wallet, or card. The order then reaches your bitbybit dashboard.

Good to know

  • One product per order. There is no cart. To buy two different products, the customer places two orders.
  • Online payment only. Customers pay through Xendit or Doku. Paying by manual transfer to your own bank account isn’t available. Customers can still pay by bank transfer on the Xendit or Doku page.
  • Delivery prices depend on product weight. Add a weight to your products in Commerce so couriers can quote the right price.
  • bitbybit Commerce products only. Shopify products send customers to your Shopify store to buy.
  • Up to 6 products per Shop section.
