Turn on payment and shipping so customers can buy your bitbybit Commerce products straight from your bitLink. You need three things first: a payment provider like Xendit or Doku, at least one shipping method, and the store details your couriers need. The Payment & Shipping page tells you what is still missing.

Before you start

  • Add a Shop section with bitbybit Commerce products to your bitLink. See How to add a shoppable link.
  • Make sure you can open Integrations and Settings in bitbybit.

Step 1: Open Payment & Shipping

  • Go to bitLink > Payment & Shipping.
  • If something is missing, an orange message at the top of the page says what it is. Its button takes you to the right place to fix it.

Step 2: Connect a payment provider

  • Find the Payment methods card.
    • Providers you have connected are listed under Available at checkout.
    • Providers you haven’t connected are listed under Needs integration.
  • Click Integrate next to Xendit or Doku. The Integrations page opens in a new tab.
  • Follow the steps in Xendit or Doku to connect it.
Customers pay on the Xendit or Doku payment page. There they can pay by bank transfer (virtual account), QRIS, e-wallet, or card.

Step 3: Connect at least one shipping method

  • Find the Shipping methods card. You can offer any of these:
    • KiriminAja: couriers like JNE, J&T, and SiCepat. See KiriminAja.
    • GoSend: instant or same-day delivery by a Gojek driver. See GoSend.
    • RideBlitz: instant delivery by electric motorbike. See RideBlitz.
    • Your own delivery with a flat fee.
  • To connect a courier, click Integrate next to it.
  • To add your own flat-fee delivery:
    1. Click Add shipping method (or Manage custom methods if you already have shipping methods). Settings > Commerce > Custom shipping opens.
    2. Click Add custom shipping.
    3. Enter a Shipping name and a Fee, then click Add shipping.
Your own methods show a Custom badge on the Shipping methods card.

Step 4: Add your main store details

Couriers need your main store’s details to work out the delivery price. What they need depends on the courier:
  • Go to Settings > Commerce > Order settings.
  • In the Store location card, find your main store. It is marked with a star.
  • Edit the store, then:
    • Choose the District and Sub-district, if you use KiriminAja.
    • Turn on Use location pinpoint and place the pin on your store, if you use GoSend or RideBlitz.
  • Click Save changes.
Your main store is the location with Set as main store address turned on. If you have no store location yet, click Add store location and turn this on.

Step 5: Turn on payment and shipping

  • Go back to bitLink > Payment & Shipping.
  • In the Enable payment and shipping card, turn on the switch.
Customers can now tap Buy now on your bitbybit Commerce products and place an order. To see what they go through, read How customers buy from your bitLink. To stop taking orders, turn the switch off. Your products stay visible on your bitLink, but customers can’t order them.

Add tax to orders (optional)

  • Go to Settings > Commerce > Order settings.
  • In the Taxes card, turn on Default sales tax and enter the tax name and rate.
At checkout, the tax is added to the customer’s total. The customer sees the tax name and its percentage.

Send customers a WhatsApp invoice (optional)

  • In the Enable payment and shipping card, click Set up a reminder.
  • A ready-made automation opens. It sends the customer their payment link on WhatsApp when they place an order.
  • See Use the prebuilt invoice reminder template.

Why can’t I turn on checkout?

The switch stays off until you have a payment provider, a shipping method, and your store details. Find the message at the top of Payment & Shipping and follow the fix.
