Use this page when you want to connect WhatsApp Business App through Coexistence.

Overview

Choose Coexistence when you want to use WhatsApp Business App and Cloud API with the same number. For the short comparison, read Coexistence vs WhatsApp API.

Before you start

  • Have an available phone number.
  • Install WhatsApp Business App on your device.
  • Have a Facebook Business account ready.

Steps

  1. Open Integrations.
  2. Find the Coexistence connection for WhatsApp.
  3. Click Connect to Meta.
  4. If you already have a WhatsApp account available to connect, choose it from Choose your WhatsApp account to connect.
  5. If not, continue the Meta signup flow to finish the connection.

What happens next

After the connection is complete, you can use the connected WhatsApp Business App path in supported product areas where that channel is available.
