Use this page when your automation should start from site activity.

Overview

The current Web activity trigger family includes these trigger options:
  • Visited a page
  • Visited collections
  • Visited product
  • Add item to cart
  • Visited X collections
  • Visited X product

Before you start

  • Open Automation.
  • Click Create new scenario.
  • Make sure the site activity you want to track is already available in your setup.

Steps

  1. Click Trigger.
  2. Choose Web activity.
  3. Select the trigger option that matches the behavior you want to track.
  4. Fill in the requested page, collection, product, or visit-count details.
  5. Save the trigger.
  6. Add the next step in the scenario.
  7. Click Save automation.

When to use each option

  • Use Visited a page when you want to track a specific page.
  • Use Visited collections or Visited product when you want to track interest in a specific catalog area.
  • Use Add item to cart when you want to react after a shopper adds a product to cart.
  • Use Visited X collections or Visited X product when you want to react after repeated browsing activity.
